01/14/08: first acceptance!!! in at baylor with 1/2 scholarship over all 3 years

01/29/08: in at hofstra with $25,000/yr scholarship over all 3 years

01/30/08: in at chapman with a full scholarship over all 3 years...also got my free hofstra shirt in the mail today

01/31/08: phone call from emory!!! wow it's been a great week!

02/04/08: ughh first rejection...from george mason...kinda a surprise but whatever, didn't really wanna go there anyway...got a phone call from the dean at loyola chicago later in the day letting me know that i got in

02/07/08: got my packet in the mail from emory!! also got my acceptance packet from temple with $12,000/yr scholarship over all 3 years

02/08/08: got my acceptance letter from loyola chicago with a scholarship of $15,000/yr for all 3 years

02/11/08: got an admissions packet from pepperdine with a scholarship of $23,000/yr for all 3 years

02/16/08: got my acceptance letter from chicago-kent with a scholarship of $20,000/yr for all 3 years

02/20/08: grrr waitlisted at fordham today

02/23/08: got admissions packet from loyola...now waiting on scholarship info from there

02/27/08: eek georgetown status checker went to decision...sure my rejection letter is in the mail right now

03/01/08: got my rejection letter in the mail from georgetown, no surprise there...but got a scholarship offer of $63,000 over all 3 years at loyola contingent upon staying in top 65% of class...not a bad day overall

03/07/08: got a weird email from the dean of wake forest letting me know that i had been accepted there and apologizing for letting me know via email...still haven't heard anything about scholarships from emory so i am getting kind of nervous that i am not going to get one

03/11/08: just got a call from the dean at cardozo letting me know that i got in and got a scholarship of $20,000/yr for all 3 years!!! really excited about that!

03/12/08: omg omg omg!!!! i got my acceptance letter from hastings today....soooooo excited (one of my top choices)!!!!

03/25/08: got WL at boulder today...a bit surprised by that but not so much since i am not a CO resident...also got my fin aid package from pepperdine and i got an addition $2k a year in grants...the decision is getting harder and harder!

04/05/08: got WL at washington and lee today

Congrats on all your acceptances so far! A friend of mine goes to Chapman and he really likes it, but I think you should probably get into some of the higher end schools you're still waiting to hear from. We've got similar numbers, so maybe good news for you is good news for me also.

I'd love to go to either BU or Fordham, but I haven't heard from either yet. Out of my current group, maybe Yeshiva. I want to specialize in international law and people tell me NY is the place to go. Plus Yeshiva's got a great location in the city and is considered a "rising" school.
