Let's be honest, adcomms won't see past my LSAT.

Additional info & updates

With such a low LSAT score, I'm not expecting much from this cycle. I currently hold a full-time position, so I'm thankful I have a positive alternative. Really looking for that one school that will look past the score and focus on everything else...but I don't have high hopes. I've also visited most of the schools on this list at some point and I'd be happy at any of these schools.

(Yes, I do realize that just about every school on my list is a reach. Will likely be forced to retake test in June upon receiving this cycle's decisions.)

***For whatever reason, LSN is acting funny. I will post decision dates below, but all the sent dates are fairly accurate.

Just now creating my profile, I've been rejected from George Mason and American, and waitlisted at Campbell. Not surprised at all by GM and AU, but glad to know I wasn't completely rejected from Campbell.

2/3 - Dinged at UGA. Surprise surprise... This whole situation of applying to law school would be so much easier if I had at least one acceptance.

2/13 - Dinged at UK. Not a real surprise, but never got an e-mail saying they received my application. No status checker. Just a rejection via snail mail.

2/25 - Dinged at Georgia State. Status checker still says "No decision at this time."

2/27 - Dinged at Arkansas-Fayetteville. Quick turnaround, but I was below their advertised index, so it wasn't surprising.

3/1 - Dinged at Tulane via snail mail. Good sports law program, too bad.

3/6 - Waitlisted at W&L via snail mail. I would need a miracle to get off this and accepted.

3/8 - In at Appalachian (snail mail) and University of Arkansas Little Rock (e-mail with in-state tuition).

3/9 - Dinged at George Washington. Waitlisted at Tennessee; would really like to go there.

3/17 - Accepted into the PBAP at Campbell; not likely to accept offer. Rejected at Louisville.

3/19 - Dinged at William & Mary via e-mail.

3/24 - Dinged at Richmond via snail mail.

3/26 - Dinged at UMiami.

3/30 - Dinged at Wake and Bama via e-mail.

3/31 - Withdrew from all schools I've been accepted to. I'll be taking the exam again in June. If any of my pending schools accept me, I'll probably attend.

4/5 - Waitlisted at Ole Miss via snail mail.

4/9 - Accepted at Elon via e-mail. Better late than never? I'm actually very happy to be accepted, as I can really see myself in GSO for a few years.

4/19 - Waitlisted at Florida. I'll be riding all of my waitlists out, but with the realistic expectation of not having much hope to get off any of them. Elon is looking more and more like my final destination.

4/22 - Waitlisted at Mercer. All of these waitlists are driving me nuts. Maybe I'll just go for my MBA haha.

4/26 - Accepted to CSOL via e-mail.

5/1 - Rejectedat UNC via snail mail. I've become numb to rejections. One more should be on the way from SMU.

5/3 - And...this rounds out my cycle. Rejected at SMU. No real shocker, but for whatever reason I had some fiber of hope.

I'm studying for the June test. I've put my seat deposit down at Elon, but if I do significantly better in June I'll hope to get off a waitlist or reapply this fall. I'm getting a promotion in June as well, so taking another year to work will not be too bad. Signing off...

Look, both you and I are waitlisted at UT, so you should totally withdraw...HAHA totally just kidding! Unfortunately, I have received real messages like that on this site! But really, congrats on UALR & UTK. You should visit UALR, Little Rock is alot like Knoxville, and you might just like it there! Good luck on the rest of your cycle! :)

Wish I was you right now!
