Additional info & updates

Chicago-Kent acceptance alert via Dean email 02/24. I am definitely going to law school!
UGA: online status check, thin envelope several days later
UTK:thin white envelope. $2000 a year until they nail down admitted students; more (possibly) to follow.
GULC: "Decision" status online 03.15. Rejection letter 03.22. Big surprise...
GW: WL, FT division; accepted PT division.
American: WL...I have to admit I'm slightly surprised...maybe I'm a victim of late application or maybe I'm not as attractive of a candidate as I thought?
American: 04.18, phone call from dean of admissions following an email to determine my "interest"...told him I wasn't sure where I stood, he seemed like he wanted me to praise AU and then he'd offer me admission...I'm not one for gushing, so we'll just wait and see. I'd rather be at GW, anyway.
GW: 05.04, email acceptance, but I have no idea whether it's for full- or part-time...must wait in agony for snail mail!!!

Have you heard anything as to why UNC has taken so long to send out letters? I have lots of friends who have applied and heard nothing. What is your top choice?

Not sure

I'm not sure what I want to do Law School wise...either UNC or Washington in St. Louis. It is hard to beat the cost of UNC since I am in-state, but Washington is an amazing school....Currently with Wake and Richmond as the only places I have gotten into, Wake would easily be my choice. Good luck with everything, especially GW. A fraternity brother of mine goes there and will graduate this year from GW Law. He has really enjoyed it.

Out of curiousity, was your letter signed by the admissions committee or an individual person?

call them up and ask :) i called twice today after recieving my email. first to see if i got in and second to check the division. i was afraid they accepted me part time when i applied full cause ive heard of schools doing that. it will take 20 seconds to find out and will save you the stress... my bet is full time
