suffolk, UNC, and American all emailed me when apps were received.
3/9, complete at American via email.
3/12, complete at UNC via email.
3/16-in at Suffolk!!!!! (big white envelope). I'M GOING TO LAW SCHOOL!!!!!!! YAY!!!
3/23-in at Penn State, I get to chose law schools, yay!! Big envelope.
3/29-letter from American. Not waitlist letter, but said that my application is coming up for review within next few weeks (apparently they have a greater than normal volume of apps this year) Want to know if I have decided to attend a different school, or if I am still interested. I'm supposed to email them, I'll do that tonight, still interested, want as many options as possible.
4/2-in at American, big envelope via FedEx. Very exciting, but also troubling. I didn't expect to get in there! It's by far the best school (ie highest ranked) I've been accepted to, but also very very very expensive! Lots of decisions to make, but still, very exciting!
Having so much trouble deciding. I have a dog, so going to American would be hard, because it's in a city. But it's such a good school! On the other hand, I love Penn State's location, and the school seems great. I wish their website had a place where I could talk to current students, or find out more about the atmosphere!
As of 4/3-still no scholarship offer at Penn State. I guess I applied to late, because a lot of people with similar numbers got scholarships, and some with lower numbers. Bummer though, I am really considering going there, and $$ would make the decision so much easier! I guess I'm just lazy and don't want to deal with this whole process anymore.
4/4-just got email from Northeastern, accepted. Stated letter will follow. Very exciting, I'm 4 for 4, but have to decide so soon, yikes! I just wish I could hear from UNC and be done waiting for decisions.
4/6-Received acceptance letter from northeastern, snail mail, small envelope. $25,500 over 3 years dean's scholarship.
The plot thickens, it is now even harder to decide!
5/1-still no word from UNC (except the weird email that they sent to all pending applicants about how we should all NOT CONTACT the admissions office regarding the status of our applications...ok then, thanks for your welcoming and inviting attitude to prospective students who have demonstrated interest in your school, no big deal that you're rude, you're just the admissions office!). UNC is probably still my first choice, but they seem to be rejecting most people, and it was a huge reach to begin with. I'm getting more and more psyched about Penn State, I didn't go with rankings, I went with the school and the location that I liked best...yay!
Congrats on Penn State! Was your acceptance just by mail or did you receive an email as well? Thanks and congrats again!
