To note: I received renewable scholarships, so the number I've posted is the total amount for the 3 years (makes me feel good to think I got a big chunk of mula!!!)

Any advice on how to get myself off the waitlist at Davis?
-Will be attending UOP's Legal Scholar Day on 3/30/07
3/30/07 Attended Legal Scholar Day. The surrounding area really turned me off. I will have to go back and explore the other neighborhoods in Sac and see if it is worth that "sacrifice".

4/12/07 - Visited USF. I forgot how much I LOVE being in the city. There is just so much to do, a diversity of people and opinions. However, during my first year it might be bad to have all these diversions so easily available.

EA: DID NOT APPLY EARLY -not sure how to fix that-

June 2007 - Received a call from Admissions at SCU. About two weeks after returning my waitlist response form indicating that I'd be interested in a part-time seat, I was accepted into the part-time program and will continue to stay on the full-time waitlist just in case...

ASU Acceptance

How did you hear from ASU?

UofP

The scholarship from UoP sealed the deal. I went to the legal scholar day and was impressed by the faculty and what the students had to say. Everything was positive. I didn't get a chance to go to USF, but I'm not much of a city guy and doubt I would do well in SF with so much around the school to do. Also, USF didn't give a scholarship. I hope that this answers your question.

ASU

Compared to SCU, pretty much across the board ASU is a superior school. Not to mention it is signifigantly less expensive and has a smaller class size. I guess if you really want to do IP law, absolutely know you want to live in the Bay Area or receive a large sum of money from Santa Clara then it may make sense to go there instead of ASU. I really liked SCU and tried to come up with every reason to go there, but in the end, when I compared the two schools rationally, it was an easy choice.

Don't know

I'm not sure where I'm going to go. USC's my number 1, but I still haven't decided between the remaining schools. Good luck with the Davis wait list!
