so....

i have about 14 apps still floating around out there, will post as the decisions roll in (is it april yet?!?!)

michigan = reach (not surprised by the rejection there, but still i would have been ok with admission, even as a pity admit haha)

b.c. = was a target. i feel this is not an auspicious start to admissions from my targets. crap.

AU, OSU, UMD, CUA, Temple, Northeastern = all were safeties.

i know i'm whining and a lot of people would be super happy to go to my "safeties" but is it really too much to ask for some of my targets to send me some love?!?

3/1/07 - no love from the alma mater. sigh.
also waitlisted at uva, time to do some sucking up.

3/28/07 - basically done and just waiting on the last two. just a little shocked at wm, considering im in-state and all, but whatever. i didn't really want to go there and i already rejected them for undergrad, so i guess this means that wm and me really werent meant to be. =)

4/3/07 - done and done. gmu fall 07.
unless UVA or BU wants me. and then i would leave GMU for them in one hot minute.

4/23/07 -crappers. i hate having to reneg on what i thought was a final decision. minnesota?

I was just really impressed with Maryland. It is definitely a school on the rise. The law school itself was beautiful, the faculty members I met were great, and I liked the students very much. Also, I really want to be a trial attorney and Maryland's Moot Court team won the national championship last year. To be honest, I probably would have gone to Notre Dame if they had given me some money. The in-state at UMD made the difference. You have some great options. Good luck with you choice and it would be great if you chose Maryland!

I was also impressed with Maryland. Its rankings just went up to 36 (look at US News Report today). The faculty members I met were really good - (I attended both an Open House and a reception for newly admitted students yesterday in DC). Best of luck with you choice and it would be fantastic if you chose Maryland!
