Additional info & updates

11-15-06: In at UGA by online status checker. Letter came a couple days later.

11-25-06: Acceptance at UF came in big manilla folder, sent to permanent address.

12-11-06: UT status checker says that my application was denied on 12-6. Ultra-thin letter also came today.

12-18-06: Received email from Tulane titled "Your acceptance to Tulane Law School." E-mail says that acceptance letter with scholarship is forthcoming.

1-5-07: Accepted at American in USPS package. 20K per year Dean's Scholarship at Tulane with acceptance package.

1-16-07: Big white acceptance package from Emory, sent to permanent address.

1-29-07: Waitlisted at Vandy, thin white envelope. I was expecting a rejection, so it's a small victory I guess.

1-31-07: Withdrew from American and UF.

2-15-07: Deferred at WUSTL, small white envelope. I don't get this at all. They supposedly love splitters, and based on past cycles I should be accepted rather easily. Whatever.

2-26-07: Waitlisted at GW, small envelope.

3-20-07: 54K offer at Emory. I am both excited and shocked: I was optimistically hoping for 10K per year. My decision is easy now, I will be at Emory in the fall!!!!!

3-30-07: Finally waitlisted at WashU. Yawn. I won't be staying on it of course. Looking forward to the ASW in Atlanta on the 7th instead.

You and I have identical numbers....so I guess I can kiss UT goodbye, eh? Oh well - George Mason is cheap (instate for me) and have accepted me full-time. I got into U of GA, but don't think I want to move that far away. Where are you leaning? AL
