Extra Curricular Information

Details: No spectacular or rare softs. My application is clearly very PI-focused with WE, resume, and essays all about that. Work experience (PI paralegal) ties in really well with what I wrote about in my PS, which explained why I want to practice the kind of law I do. I think my PS was very strong.
Wrote a diversity statement about sexual orientation. Wrote why Michigan, why UVA, and did 2 Stanford Optionals. Yale 250 was my take on a hot debate at my school so it was a personal topic, but the essay itself was not personal and I tried to be more detached since my other essays were very personal (but it was not very academic still).

Only had 2 recommendations-- both from college profs. (exception is that I had an additional one from work for NYU about commitment to PI for RTK)
