Retake
Wednesday, November 08 2006 at 07:00 PM

Take it from me, You must retake lsat and get into a ABA approved school. It is possible to go to a cba school and land a job, but it will be incredibly difficult if you are not in the top of your class. In california, it is already especially saturated with law schools both ABA and CBA. Goodluck to you, If you really cant wait, apply to cooley.

Another vote for a retake

Maybe if you hear it a fourth time, it'll sink in :) If you scored 145-152 in practices, for goodness sake, put off school for a year and retake the LSAT! Quite honestly, yours is the lowest score I have ever seen, and I've been going to this board for more than three years. You clearly have the ability to do better, given your practice scores.

go for it.

all public defenders are idiots like you. So i guess you can get into law school and graduate.

LSAT

Try and Retake the LSAT. I know, I received the same score my first time after many hours of practice. Get a private tutor, it was the only thing that helped me. I went up 8 points. Good luck.

If you take the exam in June you can still enter the fall class at several schools across the country. A lot of people tell you to wait a year but if you concentrate and believe in yourself throughout the exam you will improve dramatically. The admissions director at John Marshall Atlanta told me that there are seats available in June and July for the late LSAT takers. Give it a shot but call the schools first and let them know of your intentions. Sometimes you can cut a deal with an admissions director. Tell them you will score a 150 or better and let them know that you would like them to hold a seat for you.
