Additional info & updates

4/22/11: I can't believe I received such a tremendous scholarship from Kent! I will be attending Kent and withdrawing from all other schools.

4/21/11: Withdrew from DePaul today. Hopefully my WL spot will go to someone else or allow another person a slot.

4/19/11: Accepted at Kent today! I'm so excited! The admissions packet is coming in the mail, so hopefully there will be some good news by way of possible scholarship information.

4/12/11: Deferred at Kent today. I'm going to wait it out as long as possible and submit an LOCI and hopefully another LOR.

4/11/11: Final review at Kent today. I'm pretty excited; this is my number 1 choice.

4/08/11: Ding at Illinois. Expected. In at Valpo via status checker. Acceptance packet coming via snail mail.

3/31/11: No updates yet for any other school.

3/17/11: Letter from JMLS today (large white envelope) stating acceptance. Very excited!

3/15/11: Decision made at JMLS. Have to wait for the letter in the mail.

3/11/11: WL at DePaul. Kind of surprised about this one. I definitely appreciate the speed at which they rendered the decision, however.

3/10/11: Just a status checker update for each school:
Chicago-Kent: 3/07, Application complete - In review
JMLS: 2/27, Application received
DePaul: 3/09, Application in review
Illinois: 3/07, File complete - Ready for review
NDLS: Unknown
Valpo: 3/08, Incomplete, awaiting documents

3/09/11: Guaranteed dings at ND and Illinois, but I had to submit the apps before I knew my LSAT score. Let's just say based on my PT's ND and Illinois were definitely in range.

Nevertheless, I'm really aiming for Chicago-Kent. LSP has me at 49%, so we'll see how things shake out.

I see that it took only a week to get off the waitlist. Did you have a chance to submit LOR before you got accepted?
