11-13--UGA, first acceptance! Never been to Athens (or Georgia), but I've heard good things. Gonna see about $$$, think on it.

11-17--W&M comes back good. This was one of my favorites. Offered the fellowship, so I'd be paying in-state tuition. I like the way things are looking...

12-1--Banking on a bunch of news this week or next. Where are you, Fordham, U of A, W&L, Temple?

12-1--WL @UVA. My numbers aren't really in their range, but I decided to ED and see if I could sneak in. Guess not.

12-2--In at Villanova. They're a safety, probably not on the radar at this point.

12-9--Scholarship offer from UGA via snail mail. Offering resident tuition for the first year, comes to 16k. UGA is a good school, and resident tuition is dirt cheap. Hmmmm....

12-16--In at UofA (via snail mail) and Fordham (email). Nice little scholarship offer from UofA. Can't really afford Fordham unless they throw significant money at me, and that isn't likely...

12-19--In at Temple via status checker. Not as highly ranked as some of my other acceptances, but I really like Philly and Temple has some great programs. This is shaping up to be a very interesting cycle for me...

12-25--In at W&L via snail mail. No scholly offer (yet). They have kind of dropped for me a little bit. I won't seriously consider Lexington unless they are really generous.

1-5--In at UIUC via email. Got a message inviting me to the Admitted Students site before I even knew I was in. Minus 1 for UIUC.

P., Good luck on your cycle. There is a possibility that we might end up in the same school. Let's hope it is the best one (after a holistic evaluation) we get into. At this point W&M and UIUC are strong contenders in my case. Cheers. -TopCat
