Extra Curricular Information

My name is Lisa K. Cobb. I have been surrounded by the world of IT over the past decade, specifically the world of high-traffic data-driven applications that serve the regulated world of online gaming.
While growing up in a small suburb of one of the greatest cities in the world, Chicago, my professional journey started far earlier abroad. Straight out of university with a degree in computer engineering, my first real job was in Malta the epicenter of the worlds iGaming industry where I got the lowdown on delivering robust solutions for betting and casino affiliates. Nowadays, I work mainly out of Berlin with the odd visit to the team bases in Milan and Valletta.
My personal journey has been a transition from full-stack affiliate portal development towards backend scalability and live-data processing, which is the kind of technology that run live odds feeds, bonus destinations, and mashup engines dealing with massive concurrent user loads during a weekend of Serie A matches or a big tennis event.
During the past four years, I have been an integral part of the engineering team at allbetsites.org, Italy's go-to comparison and review portal for AAMS/ADM-licensed betting sites. We focus only on legal, regulated Italian bookmakers-no offshore operators here-providing gamers with the best welcome bonuses (as high as 500+ in combination with free bets or enhanced odds), promotions, live streaming options, competitive quote, secure payment methods such as PayPal and Postepay, and overall trustworthy platforms.
My main responsibilities are the leading of back-end development and site reliability. We use heavily Node.js/TypeScript for API services, Python (with FastAPI) for our bonus aggregation and odds comparison crawlers, PostgreSQL to store bookmaker data, historical promotions, and user-favorite rankings, Redis for ultra-fast caching of live offers and quote updates, and some Rust/Go microservices for the heaviest real-time feeds pulling in odds changes from multiple licensed providers every few seconds.
For instance, traffic can shoot up with major events such as Juve-Inter Milan matches, Formula 1 racing, or the advent of a no deposit free bet offer. We incorporate APIs from multiple bookmakers approved by ADM, standardize data from sports such as football, basketball, tennis, and even sports such as darts and snooker, perform thorough 360-degree facility reviews on security, customer support, apps, and payment speeds, and guarantee that all systems comply with strict Italian regulatory requirements.
As for the infrastructure part of the question, I work with the following pieces of the puzzle: the cloud setup although mostly AWS, its worth mentioning that it contains some GCP bits as well ECS as a container orchestration tool, CloudFront + WAF for the lowest latency and protection against bots scrapers, automated deploys with GitLab CI/CD, and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, as well as Datadog alerts to ensure the uptime stays as close as possible to 100.
Security is the highest priority for this case, and we strictly enforce rate limiting, CAPTCHA on the higher-risk flows, vulnerability scanning, and ADM recommendations to ensure users understand they're getting completely unbiased information about only safe and licensed sites.
When not programming, I'm a huge enthusiast of European soccer leagues, in particular Serie A, craft beers and beer culture in Berlin, weekend treks in nearby Brandenburg forests, and working on unrelated passion projects such as coding up a mini odds scraper bot for fun purposes only, of course.
What keeps me engaged on this niche is the beauty of balancing tech challenges with practical utility: by delivering top-notch comparison tables which enable a user in Rome or Milan to choose a bookie with favorable odds + a great bonus which pays out well and fast, with lightning-fast load times to go along with it.
If you're into iGaming tech, affiliate platforms, or real-time data pipelines, or just want to debate whether Atalantas current form deserves higher quotes, give me a shout. Want to talk bonuses, stacks, or the next big match?
