Geometry Dash a rhythm-based platformer. Players guide a small, customisable icon through increasingly difficult levels. These levels change with the music. Beat-timed obstacles require precision and quick reflexes. The player restarts the section after one error, which can be frustrating and motivating. The game's simplicity is genius. The controls are a tap to jump (or fly, or plummet, depending on game mode). Although easy to pick up and play, it hides a lot of depth and challenge.
