I work full time as a Civil Litigation paralegal. My background experience includes a year interning in congress, various campaign work, a summer internship in a criminal firm, charitable fundraising, marathon running, etc.

I am two and a half years out of college and applying primarily to part-time programs. I live in Baltimore, Maryland (2 years now) but I am originally from New York City.

3-6-12 - as of today I have withdrawn from Brooklyn, Penn State, and Denver.

2-24-12 - Withdrew from Hofstra and Uconn

2-23-12 - Waitlisted at Cardozo

2-1-12 - Waitlisted at Brooklyn Law School part time.

1-30-12 - Waitlisted for UMD part-time. Kind of surprised as I thought I was an ideal candidate for their program. Like Fordham I will be doubling down on getting myself noticed by the school. I had initially planned on UMD, but given this cycle who knows where I'll end up. Its nerve wracking and exciting all at the same time!

1-26-12 Rejected at Northeastern.

01-23-12 Admitted to Temple University of Law evening division. This has been quite a successful cycle so far. I am 5 for 7 to date.

01-19-12 Waitlisted at Fordham. I plan to visit the school, draft an LOCI, and network as best as I can in the coming weeks. I grew up just three blocks north of Fordham Law, and I attended high school around the corner. It has been a dream since I was 16 years old to one day attend Fordham.

01-18-12 dinged at GMU. Slightly bummed, but looking forward to hearing back from many of the other schools to which I have applied.

01-17-12 in at Syracuse. They sent a very nice acceptance packet that included a nice personalized letter as well. I will give better consideration to the Cuse in February after they send out merit scholarships (assuming I qualify for merit based aid).

12-20-11 in at HOFSTRA, I checked the status yesterday on 12/20 and it still said file being reviewed. I then checked this morning and the status was updated to admitted 12/20/2011. I got an email shortly thereafter. I will await financial aid info (as with other schools) before making a decision.

12-19-11 in at AU-WCL per status checker. Email came shortly thereafter. I applied PT to this school, and it is a dream come true to be accepted to AU.

12-16-11 - status on AU-WCL status checker still says complete, but date changes from late November to todays date. Message boards indicate that a decision is likely to follow

12-10-11 - on my way out on Saturday I discovered a nice package waiting for me outside my door. I was accepted to SUNY Buffalo with 4k scholarship per year.
