yeah, UH rejection surprised me. i thought waitlist, not rejection, but what do i know? so it came in a business sized envelope, white, plain, thin.. says UH on it. anyway, good luck for this cycle, i'm rooting for you!
Yeah, the rejection at UH sort of worried me about the Florida schools, but I can't get too worried about it. I still have my fingers crossed for UF and FSU, but I guess I'll see what happens. Good luck with all your apps. You should hear from Fl. Coastal fairly quickly, St. Mary's takes a while and then UH at least tells you quickly if they don't want you. Good luck.
No, mine says it is completed. But I qualify for residency so that may be why. When you call the admins you usually talk to a secretary so don't be concerned about calling. I would call to check it out, just to be sure everything is good in your app.
There were a lot of factors. First, there's a chance I'd like to work for the government. If I went to those other schools, it would have tied my hands because government salary can't pay off that kind of debt. Next, I loved the school on my vist. I'll admit, I didn't plan on going there at first, but it was by far my favorite visit. I also have family and lots of friends in the area. But, the biggest thing is that the other schools didn't feel right despite their better ranking, Arkansas did. I guess I'll see you in the fall!
Congratulations! I got accepted at UA-Fayetteville too. It's nice to have one in the bag. Did they send Scholarship notification with your acceptance letter?
