ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

My first choice is University of Miami. Planning to leverage FSU (and possible American/W&M) offer for more scholarships, unless my UM scholarship offer is amazing.

12/10: Accepted and offered $10,000/yr at FIU. Going to be hard to turn down, but it's T4.

12/7: Accepted to FSU via phone call. It was a surprise, I thought I would get waitlisted. Waiting for a packet in the mail. Probably won't be offered any scholarships, but hey, a girl can dream.

12/14: Accepted to UMiami via change to MyUM page.

12/19 Accepted to Penn State via email. Scholarship offer came in the mail about 3 weeks later.

1/12: Leveraged FSU offer to get $75,000 at Miami. Still have a few tricks up my sleeve in terms of scholarships/financial aid. Going to wait a bit to accept.

3/5: Got an email saying that my scholarship at UMiami was increased by $6,000! Sending in my deposit this week.

Hello, sorry to bother you. Today I checked my account at FIU and it says "decision rendered (...)" but it also shows that I owe $200 due April 1. Did you get the message when you got accepted? Thanks!

When I was accepted it said decision rendered and a few days later I got a letter in the mail. The letter said I have to put in the deposit ($200) but they didn't give me a date.

Hey just wondering if your online status changed before you got the phone call from FSU. My online status says "decision made and will arrive by mail" which is making me super nervous since I keep reading that they accept people by phone. Thanks and congrats on your acceptances!

I never had an online status login. No one ever gave me a username/password.

I was accepted into UM but haven't heard anything from about scholarships. What advice would you give me to maybe get some $$?

1. Leverage other offers if you can. 2. You just got accepted, so it might not have gone through yet. 3. Keep in mind that scholarships are usually only offered to those with LSAT scores above the median (UM median is 158).
