W&L asked me if I wanted to be considered for a scholarship. I sent them an email saying yes. Supposedly, I should know sometime in February if I get one. GM, if I remember correctly, hardly offers anyone anything. I actually only got a call from admissions saying I was in; the letter hasn\\\'t arrived yet.
You seem to be interested in the midwest/Chicago area...why didn't you apply to Northwestern and UChicago? With your numbers you would have been competitive. Just wondering...
Honestly, I\\\'ve lived in the Midwest my entire life, and I\\\'ve met tons of very irritating Northwestern grads. The impression I\\\'ve gotten is that it\\\'s a snooty, Ivy-League wannabe school. I can\\\'t put up with that for ten minutes, let alone 3 years. I was going to apply to UChicago, but I was running short of money and just stopped applying places.

Hey dude, I got into W&L and just got my completion notice for George Mason. Did either of them offer you any $$$? All I got from W&L was a sentence stating that they'd send me a financial aid package in mid-March. Good luck with the rest of your apps.
