Additional info & updates

Scholarship amounts are 3 year totals.

11/17: First Acceptance of the cycle at W&L.

12/8: Waitlisted at Fordham via status checker.

12/9: Held on my Penn ED. Better than just being rejected, but it still hurts. Penn is by far my #1 choice. Also accepted to Wake with $20,000/year. Wake seems like a really great place, and if I decide to move for school, it will get some serious consideration.

12/16: Deferred to RD for Cornell. Really would like to get some acceptances at this point.

12/21: Accepted to Villanova with a scholarship.

1/5: Accepted to Temple via status checker.

1/6: Accepted to Fordham today after being waitlisted almost exactly a month ago. Strange to see it happen so soon. Maybe they received less apps than expected?

1/6: Accepted to UIUC with 1/4 tuition per year. Thought I would have received a bit more scholarship money given what I saw over the past few years.

1/9: Got an acceptance call from Ohio State.

1/18: Waitlisted at Virginia. Meh.

1/25: $12k/year at Ohio State. Not bad.

1/28: Rejected at Boston College. No big deal, chances of my moving to Boston are very slim.

2/1: Accepted to Cardozo with $35k/year and Rutgers - Newark with $22k/year. Pretty surprised by the Rutgers offer, I didn't think they gave out awards that amounted to full tuition.

2/1: Held at Northwestern.

2/3: Waitlisted at Penn.

2/10: $84k at WUSTL. Accepted to IU-B.

Hi Cornelius! Just wanted to point out that we have similar numbers, are applying to quite a few of the same schools, both worked post grad in finance, and also had the same major in undergrad. Good luck to you in the application process

maybe our cycles will be similar? 3.37/167, Mexican URM boost, seems like we'd end up about even. I'll be watching, good luck!

Don't sweat being rolled by Penn (and Fordham made a really weird decision too, IMO). I'd bet that you get Penn RD later in the cycle. :)

Hi! Did you receive any scholarship info from Fordham yet? I was WL, accepted the same date as you, and I thought they would email out scholarship info by now. Thanks! p.s. good luck with Virginia!! :)
