Additional info & updates

submitted a diversity statement to all schools.

scholarships listed are the 3-year total.

wrote a "why cornell" and "why uc irvine" but no others.

before i got waitlisted at georgetown, they offered me a group video-conference interview. i declined the interview due to middling interest in the school and doing that type of interview. this leads me to believe that someone with my numbers/stats would have a decent shot there if they really go for it.

for those interested in USC: they took about 6 months to respond to my application and ended up waitlisting me. they then wanted me to submit a waitlist response form and a video explaining why i should get in off the waitlist. i didn't do either. i assumed this would take my application out of consideration (i had lost interest in attending USC by this point). instead they admitted me with a 60k total merit scholarship. i'm guessing they undershot their yield or something, but i'm not sure.

feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding my cycle or the (urm) application process in general.

Congrats on Cornell to you too! It sounds like you might end up there. That's really exciting!

Congrats on your acceptances! I'm interested in your cycle -- we have similar stats. A couple similar schools. And both Latino (though I am half-Ecuadorian). Good luck with the rest of your cycle.

I know we're both waiting on Stanford and Columbia, but assuming the worst you should definitely take Cornell's six figures. That's a really sweet deal.

Are you willing to share LSAT and gpa scores? I'm thinking of applying to Cornell, however don't know if I have the scores. Thanks
