Good luck from a fellow low UGPA applicant. Since youre a Pennsylvania resident, i think you automatically get a $20k/yr scholarship at both Penn State and Dickinson.

To be completley honest what drew me to Dickinson and State College (two separate Penn State schools, despite how they show on here). Was that over half the class gets full tuition scholarships, (not something they have historically done) and they have almost new buildings. I think youll see both climbing in ranking and reputation over the next few years. Temple is a great school, although i have been warned by former locals that its in a very unsafe area. For sure the place to be if you want to practice in philly. Not actually from PA, im from MT, but PA is a place i could see myself living - after having lived full time on the road for 12 years i picked spots i enjoy, and schools offering lots of money.

I'm wanting to do environmental law too. Did Maine email you your acceptance before they called you?

Thanks! They called me first and then sent me an email. But the scholarship info came in the packet in the mail about a week later. ENVS law is up and coming in my eyes, depending on grades and region, I'd say, Lewis and Clark, Denver, or a few other west coast schools if you are capable. Or if grades permit, Georgetown has a killer program! Thanks for the congrats!

Congrats on all your accomplishments! I'm also Hispanic and living in PA. I received my Pitt Law acceptance yesterday and am wondering what your time frame was for receiving scholarships. Did the scholarship offer come with the acceptance email?
