Additional info & updates

DAYTON: Deferred acceptance from 2005. $16M/year scholarship.

ILLINOIS: Disappointed to miss the in-state tuition.

KENTUCKY: Didn't really expect that rejection.

OHIO STATE: Not unexpected.

WISCONSIN: Small white envelope with letter stating I've been put "On hold". Allegedly this is better than the waitlist, but we shall see...

LOUISVILLE: Originally my primary choice. A great relief via a small white envelope.

OHIO NORTHERN: Phone call advising me of acceptance and $20M/yr scholarship. Followed-up with a handwritten note from the Dean.

CINCINNATI: Great school, in-state tution, scholarship, and a beautiful (after much renovation) campus means that UC usurps U of L. UC will be the one.

I recently learned that Santa Clara University is very good for IP. Its not the highest ranked school, in fact is TT. However, employment and salary statistics are above average. HTH, Best of Luck!

Jeff, good questions. The UD acceptance timeline is somewhat misleading. I had applied last year and deferred my acceptance to this year. As far as prioritization, I'm keeping an open mind at this point.
