Additional info & updates

11/28: Got email from W&L saying decisions will be released Thursday Dec 1. On schedule for their "update every Thursday" pattern given the Thanksgiving holiday. Doesn't make the waiting any damn easier.
---
12/01: Got into W&L! Follow-up email said scholarship decisions likely sent out before January.
---
12/13: Got my scholarship offer from W&L: $20K a year, contingent on maintaining a 3.15 GPA.
---
12/21: All told, W&L has sent me about a dozen different forms of contact, including a holiday card and a packet of 3 letters from different deans encouraging me to attend. None of it personalized, so I take it they do this for all admits, but wow. Now just anxiously awaiting the UVa decision; based on the timeline of other applicants, it could be any day, or it could be after the New Year.
---
01/03: Called the residency status office at UVa since the website said my residency status was "pending." Turns out they hadn't sent confirmation of residency to the Law School. Awesome. Within 15 minutes of the call, I got an email confirming residency from them, and the Law School site reflects that change now. Given the rash of rejections throughout the day today, perhaps glad I didn't hear anything, but hopefully updated residency status moves things along with the LS.
