1/10/12 - Panicking about rejection and lack of acceptances, so I added every school in the T30 that I got a fee waiver from plus all CA schools in the T100 (also all fee waivers)...
1/10/12 - Acceptance letter from Pepperdine! 25k/yr scholarship if I stay in the top third of my class
1/12/12 - Decision Rendered via Status Checker at Pacific, package sent in mail and should arrive in 7-10 days. That was the fastest turnaround ever lol
1/13/12 - Complete at WUSTL
1/17/12 - Acceptance packet from Pacific with full tuition scholarship plus books...hard to turn down, but it's not my top choice, I may withdraw soon to give other applicants a chance!
1/17/12 - Complete at ND
1/19/12 - In Committee at SCU
1/20/12 - Accepted to Northeastern via email telling me to check the status checker. Will receive acceptance package in the mail soon!

1/24/12 - Came home to scholarship from Northeastern, 10k/yr Social Justice Award with 'good standing' stipulation, plus 3k for a Public Interest co-op. Also received a call from a 1L congratulating me and asking about my interests and application, which was nice!
1/25/12 - Out at GW via email, a little disappointed because I really like the school and thought I had a good shot at getting in. Oh well, but it makes me really nervous about some of the peer schools, like BC and BU...I'll just have to wait and see!

1/30/12 - Waitlist via email from UC Hastings. Panicking.

Santa Clara - Official acceptance packet with a 10,500/year scholarship (there doesn't appear to be any stipulation attached to it for renewal)
UC Irvine - Official acceptance letter! No mention of money though, so I'm wondering if I didn't get any or if it comes later? Hmm...

2/23/12 - Decision Rendered at Loyola via status checker, will have to wait for the mail to see the results!
2/24/12 - Rejected from HLS via email - expected, but it doesn't hurt to try!
2/25/12 - Checked the mail and my scholarship offer from UCI was there! 15k/year renewable with a 2.0 - very enticing! I'm liking UCI more and more :)

3/5/12 - Received UCI's ASW schedule in the mail along with their first Law Review! SO PUMPED! Unless something goes horribly wrong at ASW...I'm thinking this is where I'll end up!!
3/6/12 - Out at UCLA via email. Not even upset - so you know how much I'm liking my other choices!!
3/9/12 - After over 3 months of waiting - Committee First Read at USC! I never thought this day would come lol
3/9/12 - Waitlisted at ND by snail mail. Debating if I want to stay on the WL or not to just see what happens for future applicants. No Why ND essay.
3/10/12 - Official Acceptance Packet from WUSTL. Cool flash drive!
3/10/12 - FINALLY!! Official Acceptance Package from USD. No mention of scholarship money though...I can't consider it without at least a little financial help.
3/12/12 - Came home to lots of mail:
USD: Faculty Honor Scholarship of 31k/year, no stips yet, I need to visit USD/negotiate with UCI
BU: Did not receive Public Interest Law Scholarship
Pacific: Letter from President of Student Body
U Iowa: 2 letters about deposit info and applying for financial aid
IU-B: 2 Postcards about Spring Law Day
3/13/12 - Evaluation in Progress at UC Davis, took them long enough!!
3/17/12 - Received 15k/year need based scholarship from BU as well as pre-approval for max federal loans...the scholarship really only covers about 1/4 of the total cost though...
3/19/12 - Received 15k/year merit scholarship from WUSTL via email
3/22/12 - 2nd Complete date at Cornell
3/22/12 - Decision Finalized at USC
3/25/12 - Logged in to Agora and saw 20k/year need-based aid scholarship at BC
3/28/12 - Came home from CA trip - out at USC. Only two more decisions left!
3/31/12 - BU mailed me a travel guide for Boston. Now I have something to help plan my Boston bucket-list!
4/2/12 - Withdrew from most offers of admission and waitlists.
4/4/12 - After nearly 5 months of waiting, UC Davis asked me to wait some more. Withdrew. One left!
4/9/12 - 3rd Complete date at Cornell
4/10/12 - 4th Complete date at Cornell...decision time??
4/10/12 - Rejection email from Cornell. Cycle is officially over!!!! 99% sure I'll be attending UCI in the fall!
4/13/12 - Withdrew from BC. I promise I still love you, alma mater! I will be attending UCI!
4/20/12 - Well, despite withdrawing almost 3 weeks ago, Pepperdine just emailed me upping my merit award to 30k/year with a flexible renewable stipulation at top 50%...
4/25/12 - UCI upped my scholarship to 20k/year!
5/11/12 - Didn't update this part but was admitted via phone call to UC Hastings off the waitlist last week with a 21,500k/year scholarship and one week to decide. I decided that without being able to visit the school, plus already having planned to attend UCI, I will be withdrawing from the offer of admission.
5/16/12 - UCI just emailed raising my scholarship to 30k/year!!!!

I wouldn't have gone there anyway. I actually thought about withdrawing soon after I applied, but decided to wait since I had already paid for it. To be honest if I had to be rejected from somewhere, that was a good place. I know it was your first choice but UCB and I have our history together. February has been awfully quiet. Though I am in midterms, so I'm fairly distracted. However, I'd like to get more decisions right about now!

LOL All I can think about is how I can leverage this money against UCI. Top tier is great, but I don't care about the rankings all that much. Maybe I will change my mind 10 years from now, but not yet. I will however say that knowing that UIUC checks your LSAT writing sample before anything else made me feel really good about what I wrote.

Scholarship offer, if any, comes 1 to 2 weeks after official admit letter. I've seen it take less and longer time for different people. I am hoping/assuming it'll be fairly quick for me. That might give you some estimated arrival time since we were admitted on the same day. Weird to think about, huh? They also offer some need-based aid. Though I don't want to worry about that unless I really wasn't offered anything at all. Fingers (and toes) crossed. I really hope they get generous with me. I need them to.
