Additional info & updates

Final year GPA 3.6. Worked 20-hour weeks first three years, which is why my GPA is so miserable. Didn't have to work my last year and earned a 3.6, which I explained in an addendum. Not sure if any schools pay attention to that or if it's just hard numbers.

11/19 U Illinois deferred my ED application to the Regular applicant pool. Anyone know how common it is to be accepted once deferred?

12/03 Submitted ED to Georgetown. I couldn't help it, it's my dream. I'm expecting the denial, but I had to try.

1/05 First acceptance from Loyola!

1/08 GULC rejection. No surprise there, but rejection still stings.

1/12 DePaul acceptance! Nice scholarship of $45,000.

1/15 IN AT U LLINOIS! Got into my reach school plus a scholarship of $30,000. I feel very lucky and very excited!

If you aren't attending Loyola can you please withdraw? I'm waitlisted at Loyola and it is my first choice! Thanks :-)
