I got my first non-acceptance on Friday the 26th... waitlisted at American, it sorta hurts, but I guess it could be worse.
Congrats on getting into some schools, good luck on the rest of your cycle, Nice to see a reach or two with Fordham, American, and Cardozo, most people only apply where their numbers say they are "suppose" to get in, but you get into 0% of the schools you don't apply to.
Thanks for the congrats, though I'm actually repping the 704...I'm from NC, just here in G'ville temporarily because of this stupid girl who broke my heart...haha. Anyway, best of luck to you. Congrats on your acceptances so far...if you don't get into anywhere else, I'd pick LUC if I were you, though if you get into Villanova or Temple, I'd go there.
Congrats on NYLS. Their scholarship offer seems decent. Looks like we applied to similar schools. I'd pick NYLS over LUC if I were in your shoes, mostly because of the $ and because they are similarly regarded in their respective regions.

Looks like you have a couple good options already and good luck with the remaining decisions. Waiting is terrible, but I am sure you will have lots of good news/options rolling in soon enough.
Thanks! Not only is that true, but we both applied late too. Good luck with those pending applications, and the waitlist at American. Did you send them a LOCI? Oh and I've considered changing my middle name to waitlist. At least they outright aren't rejections.

I'd take Loyola over NYLS in a heartbeat. From the research I've done - Loyola is fourth in the Chicago area after, U of Chicago, NW, and U of Illinois. For the city of New York, NYLS is behind Columbia, NYU, Fordham, Cardozo, Brooklyn, St. Johns, and Hofstra (Not to mention everyone else from Harvard, Penn, etc trying to get a legal job in NYC). Unless you kill it at NYLS, it may be hard to lock down a job after graudation, esp in the NYC area.
At Notre Dame in before Loyola in Chicago - still though, I think Loyola's national ranking doesn't compare to its local reputation - at least more so than NYLS
Hey guys thanks I know that by the numbers, LUC is the clear cut choice which is why this is such a hard decision. I have family in NYC and they are really pushing hard for me to be there.
