Congrats on the big UVA scholly! Out of curiosity, did you write a Why UVA essay?

Thank you! I actually wrote a diversity statement rather than a Why? essay. I have a somewhat unique athletic and educational path and I decided to really emphasize that journey on the optional essay.

Great cycle

It's funny that every school either threw a boatload of money at you or waitlisted/dinged you. Any idea why there was such a sharp dichotomy? Anyway, congrats, you're going to an amazing school for crazy cheap.

Can you tell me why you chose UVA over Michigan? Was it the money?
