Additional info & updates

YALE:
Went complete somewhere between the 21-25 of November; i listed it as 23: median.

Heard via email and letter. My fuckin' cell phone was turned off b/c apparently Sprint doesn't like it when you let a delinquent phone bill slide for a few months! I can only imagine their suprise when they heard the message "I'm sorry, but the PCS telephone number you dialed is temporarily disconnected."

The letter was standard-sized or rather "rejection-sized", so if you get a small letter don't assume the worst immediately. It was dated March 3rd and arrived on the 7th. I recieved the email on the 8th.

HARVARD:
Call from Mr. Stock. I made mention of the incident w/ Yale and he laughed, "You're lucky that you answered this call!" he said. I also told him that Harvard Rowing = Shit...nah, jk. That would've been radical though.

--I've noticed that many other applicants were interviewed on the phone on one date and then accepted later. The call i got yesterday could hardly be called an interview; he extended an offer of admissions after only a few minutes of talking. Most of what he asked me was in order to verify that i am an athlete and my FISA Rowing experience.

**Post a general question and i'll answer it as best i can in this box**

Congrats! So, to be clear, you were accepted by phone call yesterday, i.e. Thursday?

First and foremost whoever wrote this last comment is too weak to even allow a response. Just one of those people who make baseless comments b/c their own lives suck ass. Secondly Yale DID call (if you would have taken the time to read my profile you would have realized this. Thirdly, regarding the interview from Mr. Stock, I was similarly surprised, but to say that because my situation is unlike the rest it is bullshit is to ignore the various ways Harvad can and does extend offers to candidates. So "Straight", you are officially an idiot.
