GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FAITH EVERYONE!! DON'T GIVE UP.

--> I applied to 22 schools. (2015)

--> Florida Coastal WAITLISTED me via online status checker! YES!! I am going to keep hope alive. I just send a LOCI- Letter of Continued Interest.

--> Accepted to Florida Coastal via e-mail. To God be the Glory!! FCSL is the first school to accept me.

--> I paid my seat deposit to Florida Coastal.

--> Thank God this whole process is FINALLY OVER!!!!

*UPDATE* After doing one semester (August 2015-December 2015), I was academically dismissed. *UPDATE*

Ever since I have been dismissed, receiving admission has been very challenging for me. I had applied 43 times and was rejected by all schools. The only schools that waitlisted me was Golden Gate (2017) and Western New England (2018). I was rejected afterwards.

--> In 2016, I had applied to 8 schools.
--> In 2017, I had applied to 24 schools.
--> In 2018, I had applied to 11 schools.
--> In 2019, I had applied to 14 schools.

> Update from July 5, 2021.

--> I took the LSAT five times. After 5 years, your score is removed from your LSAC account. Three scores are on my record. I will not take the LSAT ever again.

--> I have faith that I will go back to school.

--> I do not care how many times I have to go through this process, I am not giving up.

--> I have a whole new application.

> I applied to 10 schools.

--> If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Good luck to everyone!

> On July 8th, Toledo noted decision rendered my on check application status. I guess I should be expecting a mailed letter from them.

Did NC Central mention why they rejected you?

Saturday, March 07 2015 at 05:37 PM

@mckay007 NCCU told me that they have over 1100 applications to review and that they cannot admit me.

Why did you get academically dismissed? Im kind of worried that will happen to me.

Graduate work

if you dont have a masters I would recommend getting enrolled in a program may be one that is online and not that long, I go to WGU for business and I will be completing the program this summer in just a year. I had a poor GPA and was rejected by a number of schools after some schools received my graduate work ive been reconsidered for conditional programs. if you want to get in after being dismissed 'd start there

@chachi I was academically dismissed because something terrible had happened to me and I thought that I could still keep up with school. Honestly, I should have dropped out. Aww, don't worry. Just stay focus, ask your professors for help, create study groups, learn how to manage your time wisely, don't study to much and you will be fine. If you applied as a full-time student and you feel that the workload is to much, drop one class and do part-time. You could always make up that one class in the summer.

@Dmoore27 Thank you for your kind words. I want to see how this process goes and if I am not admitted by August, then I might get my Masters degree. I wanted to get that even before going to Law School but my father talked me out of getting one because he felt that getting one was pointless. Lol. By June/July, I might add more schools to my application.

Your story interested me so much that I went to the Lsage 7 predictor tool to see what schools are likely to take you. I have discovered that you are not applying to ALL of the right schools. You are missing Southern Univ, TSU, Cooley, UMass-Dartmouth, Roger Williams and Touro. All of these schools and some others are saying your numbers will get you in. The schools I have just mentioned have at least a 95 percent chance of getting in. I truly beleive that Southern is your best option. Try to use the tools that are available to get rid of some of this rejection. Only apply to the schools that say you have at least a 90 percent chance. Also you may need help from the CLEO foundation. It is a program that prepares people of color for law school because we do struggle acheiving the goal. Please google it and let them help you. They have a program called CLIC where if you agree to attend a small prep course the partnering schools will let you in. A lot of folks prepare for law school before they actually go by purchasing one on one tutoring. This is not a bad idea for you. It will help you prepare for the bar exam. A seasoned attorney told me to always proof my writing. Proof everything you write even if it is a note card. Attorneys cannot have poor grammar and they must be able to speak well. I will be working on my writing. I am looking to attend the fall of 2021. I am trying to prepare for the lsat. I wish you well.

Western New England

You might get that one! There is New England School of Law, Barry and FLorida A and M missing. Take care.

Saturday, March 07 2015 at 05:37 PM

@Adamloves Thank you. I will be retaking the LSAT. Hopefully, I will attend Law School Fall of 2021 too.
