Additional info & updates

4/16/10: Waitlisted at Harvard! Personally I think this isn't too shabby given the numbers, and the fact that I didn't bother with a LOCI after being held. I'd already decided that UVA is the best place for me (beyond just the money), so I more than anything just wanted an answer. I count myself incredibly fortunate to have dodged getting any rejections for any of my schools, which amount to 8/14 of the T14, so I'm pretty thrilled with my cycle. If you're at UVA next year...I'll be seeing you.

TheSharklord ---out.

3/04/10: In at Columbia! Impossible is nothing.

I think UVA is still the way to go for me personally. Fully scholly, plus awesome location, plus good DC/NYC placement means I'm in a good spot. And I've got a great apartment.

2/26/10: Got the Waitlist from Michigan today. A bit sad on one level, but it was the right call for them. UVA is really compelling at this point, w/ the scholarship. Really it would take a major event to put me off going with them (ie. a Harvard acceptance). Oh, I didn't write a Why Mich. That probably didn't help. Dean Z is still the coolest person in the universe though! =P

2/10/10: Got the Waitlist email from Chicago today. Not overwhelmingly surprised, nor overwhelmingly depressed. Should I find my way off of the waitlist, that's awesome, but elsewise, I've got great options already!

Also, got a Hold email from Harvard, so if they're willing to keep me in the mix, I'm sure willing to keep playing! Will be sending the LOCI off shortly.

2/1/10: Got an acceptance email from Cornell. After I'd given up hope on ever getting an answer from them ;)

1/12/10: IN AT PENN by message left on my phone!! Listened to it twice to verify!!

1/7/10: Got emailed to contact UVA admissions office. Did and found I got in plus $$! =D Great day!

12/17/09: Under Review at Penn today! Let's go round two! =)

12/14/09: ACCEPTED AT GEORGETOWN VIA SNAIL MAIL. THANK YOU, GOD!

12/11/09: Still waiting on any signs of life from GULC. Getting nervous...but then my school takes forever with letters. It'd be better if I were getting a package than a little piece of mail. In other news: Under Review at Harvard.

12/8/09: DECISION RENDERED AT GULC. I'm so excited to start hearing answers.

11/30/09: My other letters *finally* got sent in. Will be complete almost everywhere in a day or two I think. Tick...tock...

11/18/09: Under review at GULC...nervous? No. Totally not. *bites nails down to the quicks* And so it begins.

11/8/09: Got a fee waiver from Cornell! =)

10/27/09: Got a fee waiver from UChicago! =)

10/21/09: Got a fee waiver from GULC! =)

10/19/09: Got a fee waiver from UVA...that's cool. =)

10/19/09: 170 LSAT! It's a good score, though I wish I didn't get hammered on my first non-experimental LR section. I could've gotten a few more points...ah well, it's still a 170! At my mother's constant behest, I've added Harvard (and Columbia) to the list...

10/2/09: Transcript info got posted to LSAC and my LDAS GPA is indeed at 3.19. Working my way through my essays for Penn...

9/27/09: Took the LSAT yesterday, and felt pretty good about the test. I only intend to take it once, so I hope that my good vibes translate into a good score...Now it's time to go get those letters of recommendation...

On a side note: I really hope that some college that sees my file actually reads my LSAT essay. It was baller.

Think I got a little carried away? haha After my retake I was a little overwhelmed and sent out too many. GL with your cycle, things are looking good.
