Additional info & updates

N.B. scholarships are over 3 years

2-1-12 Admission to W&M was kind of a thrill -- what, and a scholarship? Sweet.

2-7-12 Limping in with a late app to Hastings, because it's free.

2-13-12 Waitlisted at UCLA! I'm absurdly excited that they don't NOT want me. The (waiting) game is afoot ...

2-18-12 Got the super-late fee waiver WUSTL sent everyone who's ever taken the LSAT, figured I've spent $16 on worse things, and applied.

2-22-12 ... and I'm in at WUSTL! Wow. Last night the status checker said "processing" so I didn't think I'd gone complete yet.

2-23-12 Pfft, Irvine.

2-28-12 In at Loyola, but no money, which more or less puts it out of the running.

3-1-12 $48K from WUSTL! And no stips on their money, so it's guaranteed. I e-mailed yesterday about scholarships and they said they'd get back to me, but a bunch of people got awards today, so it's probably not related.

4-9-12 Just waiting (impatiently) on Davis now.

4-26-12 Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. I'm jumping on the splitter bus to St. Louis! Thanks for playing, and good luck with your own cycles.

Congrats on WashU! By any chance, did your acceptance email have anything in it that indicated when they would be considering for scholarships? Mine didn't, so I am just wondering it's just me or for others too. Thanks!

My letter didn't say anything at all about scholarships, but that may just mean we're out of the running for the big ones. Or they're still thinking.

Okay thanks so much! That makes me feel better--if everyone else had a different letter then I'd know that they definitely didn't want to consider me. Given your LSAT score you should ABSOLUTELY still be in the running so good luck! :)
