Additional info & updates

11/29/11 - Received email from Kentucky that I'm in. Scholarships will be issued in January/February. Official letter came in mail 1.5 to 2 weeks later.

12/16/11 - Status checker at SLU reads "decision made, Letter to follow shortly."

12/19/11 - Email from SLU that I'm in with the scholarship offer. Official packet to come in mail.

12/23/11 - snail mail from U of A--waitlisted. Hmmm...

1/23/12 - Email from UMKC on acceptance. No word on a scholarship.

1/27/12 - Received snail mail from UMKC, plus $8k/yr scholarship.

1/31/12 - Received email from ASU on acceptance. Snail mail to follow with additional information.

2/9/12 - Received email from W&L--waitlisted. Bummer. :(

2/10/12 - Received email from American - accepted. As of today still have not received packet on ASU acceptance. Email from Kansas, accepted with $10k/year scholarship (merit)

2/17/12 - IUB status checker changed to "decision mailed"--????? I did NOT receive an email. I see that others received WL decisions yesterday, so I can't help but wonder why I didn't receive an email yesterday. That could mean I'm waiting on snail mail for a rejection letter, but that would SUCK if I'd be the first reject of this cycle. :-(

2/18/12 - Received ASU snail mail today. No scholarship money. HUGE bummer, because now I'm put in a tight spot. Received snail mail for Kansas acceptance today also.

2/22/12 - IN at WUSTL!!! EEEEEEKKK! SO. SO. SO. SO. SO. HAPPY. :-))) But the email did not have any mention on when scholarships would be decided, so I wonder if this means I'm basically ineligible for scholarships? Anyways, this is pretty much the highlight of my cycle and I'm 90% certain we can call this cycle a rap.

2/24/12 - Received snail mail from Kentucky offering me scholarship which brings tuition down to in-state residents' level.

2/28/12 - received email from IUB. Accepted with scholarship. Surprising because the decision was made back on 2/17 and I thought that I was waiting on snail mail rejection.

3/21/12 - accepted to OSU via email.

FINAL DECISIONS: Accepted to Master's of Accounting program (1 year) and was granted a 1-year deferral to WashU St. Louis. Will be entering then come 2013.

Well yes I was shocked when I received the letter, too. But my LSAT is not strong and holds me back. My number one choice is Wash U but probably won't get in. :(

I got a letter in the mail today. There were a few other EA rejections posted on TLS today, but no acceptances yet. Good luck!

Congrats

Don't count yourself out yet! My friend was accepted to WUSTL a few weeks before hearing about scholarship info. And it was a great offer. I plan to email this week or next just to inquire. But don't take it as a bad sign yet :). Hopefully notifications will be quicker since it's getting later in the cycle. But I do believe they send scholarship and admittance offers separately.
