11/20: LORs should be completed soon, and applications ready and out by Thanksgiving seems like a possibility. Man, I'm starting to feel behind in all this...
11/30: Still no word from my recommenders. Is it ok to send out my apps before I have any confirmed LORs? I'm starting to get worried about my lateness in this cycle. Looks like my Profs want to wait until after finals in mid-December.

if you don't definitely want to stay in the south, you should apply to more reaches! and what about vandy? good luck to you - just get those apps in and you could sweep this cycle!

of schools that are not super reaches, it'll probably come down to money offers. With that said I'd be pumped to get into UVa -- close to DC, where my family is.
