what's the plan? are you going to try to transfer after 1L? i only ask because that was my intention initially. i was hoping for a similar offer to yours, but i didn't get it. hey, is that scholarship renewable based on gpa or rank? fyi, i've heard that the first year curve is a c+/b-. i have also heard that the top of the class do not have a hard time transferring into the philly schools. take care and good luck next year. damn...is that pa/delaware?

hey,

hi there- congratulations on the scholarship to widener, i am most likely going to be your classmate there, I am visiting this Wednesday to look around the area and look for possible apartments. I will also be at the accepted students day on April 22. Do you already live in the Harrisburg area? I've never been, but I am hoping I will be happy there.

Why no Duquesne? Because my family has moved a couple times, I want us to settle where I attend law school. Several sources led me to believe the legal market in Pittsburgh was somewhat stagnant, and that deterred me from applying to Duquesne (and some geographic issues). I only applied to Pitt to possibly leverage an acceptance there for a more favorable fin. aid package elsewhere. Good luck

Thanks. I would have liked to attend the accepted students day, but I'm in Texas and chose not to travel. We (family) visited the Harrisburg area last year and liked it very much. For those seeking to extend their undergrad partying days, it may seem too low-key. But for all others, I can't imagine being unhappy there solely due to the surroundings. We're moving in early July. We may not live in Harrisburg, but close by. See you there.
