10.28.2010 Duke Priority Track is a wonderful thing. Feeling much more relaxed and confident.

11.5.2010 Just finished JR1! I was unreasonably nervous, but I think it went okay.

11.14.2010 My Georgetown acceptance came in such a small envelope I thought it was a rejection *sigh of relief.*

11.22.2010 JR2!! I have something to be thankful for this year.

11.24.2010 It is getting COLD. West coast option sounds excellent.

12.8.2010 I would be anxious about the trickle of YLS calls, but I just found out that my undergrad institution never sent a dean's cert, so I'm anticipating a long wait on that one.

12.11.2010 My NYU status checker claims that the letter was mailed on 11/17, and the letter is dated 12/1, but I didn't receive it until 12/11. Also, those purple envelopes are damn hard to open.

2.22.2011 Snubbed by my home state university. Yield protect much, UVA?

2.25.2011 Aaaand waitlisted at the school where I'm a double legacy. At least we know U of M isn't corrupt!

3.16.2011 ATTN LAW SCHOOLS: The fact that I want to do LGBT civil rights law does not mean that I identify as LGBT. Inviting me to "diversity events" and sending me emails about how your school is great for "queer women" is awkward enough, but nominating me for a scholarship for "minorities" is just wrong. Will avoid a crisis by withdrawing from everywhere except HYS.

4.8.2011 After five months of waiting, the opportunity to wait some more? Thanks but no thanks, Yale. Harvard it is.
