Updated this sucka with final information. Law school sure is fun.

09-07-2007: Merit-based fee waiver at Duke.
09-23-2007: GPA down 0.01 after LSAC finished processing it. For those of you interested in its accuracy, the LSAC GPA calculator on lawpad estimated it at 3.74.
10-05-2007: Mailed Stanford's certification letter. So the 10-01-2007 listed as "sent" may be slightly inaccurate.

Note that the "received" date for Columbia and the "complete" date for Duke are estimations based on when I was notified of completion and decision (respectively). I also take into account when they requested LSDAS reports.
Update: This also applies to Berkeley's "received" date.

09-28-2007: In at Duke via email.
10-04-2007: Duke acceptance packet arrived in the mail today. Thick 8.5x11 white envelope.
11-20-2007: In at Boalt via email.
12-01-2007: Boalt acceptance packet arrived in the mail today. Thick 8.5x11 light yellow envelope.
12-10-2007: In at NYU via snail mail. Misleadingly thin 8.5x11 dark(ish) yellow envelope.
01-23-2008: In at Chicago via phone call.
*cycle now officially half-over.*
01-25-2008: In at Columbia via snail mail. Thin(ish) 8.5x11 pale olive-green envelope.
02-01-2008: Rejected at Stanford via snail mail. Thin standard-sized white envelope. First (but likely not final) rejection of the cycle.
02-04-2008: Columbia and Chicago acceptance packets arrived in the mail today.
02-06-2008: Deferred at Harvard via email. I suppose I'll have to wait a bit longer. Columbia box o' stuff arrived in the mail today.
02-11-2008: Rejected at Yale via snail mail. Thin standard-sized white envelope. Can't say I'm surprised given my GPA. All that remains is the Harvard deferral now.
02-27-2008: Duke scholarship offer arrived in the mail today. Been getting a lot of random info packets from NYU, Columbia, and Duke in particular lately (mostly just housing/school info).
03-12-2008: Chicago scholarship offer arrived in the mail today. I plan to withdraw from Duke shortly.
03-26-2008: Withdrew from Duke today. I apologize for not doing this sooner - I have been very busy with finals and the like recently.

5-02-2008: Updated my page with the following information: NYU, Columbia scholarships; Chicago withdrawal; Harvard waitlist. These events all occurred over the month of April at various times.
5-02-2008: NYU Withdrawal.

Good luck fellow 2007-2008 applicants.

You should get fee waivers from at least a few top 14 (including Duke). And yes, to TLS PM.

Actually, no pun intended, I tweaked my numbers a little (just enough for privacy) so we're closer than you think, unless you did the same thing! :)

Stanford is the only school that requires Dean's Certification before you apply, correct?

How did Berkeley notify you that you were complete? I sent my application in at about the same time as you and haven't heard anything from them. They said they'll send an email. Did you get one? Thanks
