12-2-10 - I was put onto DePaul's waitlist a few weeks ago. Pretty disappointing. For some reason, I always felt like I would get in. Hoping that I am able to get into Chicago-Kent. Hopefully applying early decision and writing the optional essay will help

12-3-10 - John Marhsall decision letter was mailed today. I wish they could just post it online like everyone else. It will be a long weekend now waiting for that letter. It's not one of my top choices but I would feel really good to get my first acceptance

12-9-10 Waitlisted at Chicago-Kent. Disappointing but it is what I was expecting.

12-11-10 My John Marshall letter was lost in the mail and I had them send a new one. I will know the decision early next week. I also decided to apply to Oregon and just submitted my application.

12-12-10 John Marshall letter turned up today and I am accepted with a 10,000 dollar a year scholarship as long as I remain in the top third of the class. Feels good to get that first acceptance out of the way

12-16-10 Accepted at Marquette via e-mail. More information is on its way

12-17-10 Rejected at Illinois. No surprise - only applied because it was free

12-20-10 Accepted at Valparaiso via Status Checker. More information to follow

1-20-11 Haven't updated in a while but there's really no news. I told Valpo I will not be attending, sent letters of continued interest to DePaul and Chicago-Kent. Still waiting to hear from Loyola and Northern Illinois which should be real soon. As of now, I will be going to Marquette unless I get into Chicago-Kent, Loyola, or DePaul.

2-4-11 Got an e-mail from Loyola saying that a decision has been made and a letter is on the way. According to forums on top-law-schools.com it looks like that means I've been rejected. I'll wait to change the Loyola status until it's official. Currently plan on attending Marquette unless I get off of either Chicago-Kent or DePaul WL

2-7-11 I am pleasantly surprised that I have been placed on Loyola's waitlist. I now have 3 downtown Chicago schools that I am waitlisted. I would be happy to go to any one of these 3 schools. All I can do now is wait and see what happens

2-13-11 Just received a 4k a year scholarship from Marquette. This makes it even more likely that I will end up there

4-11-11 Going to Marquette. Done Deal unless Chicago-Kent or DePaul accept me off the waitlist AND give me a big scholarship (very unlikely)

4-28-11 Got into DePaul today. It's really making me think hard about my options. It's DePaul or Marquette now

5-8-11 Got a scholarship offer to DePaul and will be attending
