11/10 - I'm surprised at how quickly UVA and W&M were completed.

11/16 - First acceptance today, William and Mary by priority mail. At least I have somewhere to go next fall, if things don't turn out well. Kudos to them for their record-setting speed. If only it was always this fast.

12/3 - After a long period of silence on the LS front, I got a call today from Ed Tom at Boalt offering admission! Made my day, for sure. They even give a $350 voucher to out of state people to come to their admitted student weekend.

12/3 - Starting to feel like I'm headed straight for the HLS waitlist, where I will languish indefinitely. Discouraged that most people seem to get the "phone call email" before going complete. Then again, maybe it's just the stress of finals getting to me.

12/12 - Big day, NYU in a big envelope and Georgetown in a small party invitation.

12/28 - UVA by email, personalized. Halfway home!

2/5 - UPenn acceptance by phone. First news in over a month. For the record, I did not write a Why Penn? essay.

2/27 - Columbia by mail. Uh-oh, now I have to make real decisions.

3/31 - Dinged at Chicago. Feeling sort of indifferent. I have enough choices as it is.
