1/19 - I have submitted almost all my apps in the last two weeks, beginning Jan 4. Currently working on my last major app, NYU. I'm debating if I want to submit more apps as backups, in particular Hastings. I may also submit Yale, just for kicks? We'll see...

I know I'm submitting these a little late in the game and I'm a longshot for some of these schools, just keeping my fingers crossed! I HATE being a splitter!

1/22 - Submitted NYU and UC Hastings so now I am officially DONE with apps! I have decided against trying to apply to Yale. It's the waiting game now, fingers reeeeally crossed, hopefully I get to hear from one soon...

1/26 - I decided to throw my hat in the Boston College pool as well to round out the major Boston schools. Meanwhile, the wait continues...

2/2 - In at GW!!!! Holy crap that was fast (the acceptance letter was dated Jan 28, EIGHT DAYS after my file was marked complete)! Plus they're offering a pretty healthy merit scholarship. This is a great first acceptance to have. Have faith splitters! There is hope! =)

2/5 - IN AT NORTHWESTERN!!! TOP 10!!! OMG! =)

2/18 - Rejected from Berkeley, booo. Not surprised, though, they really go after high GPA's. Oh well =/

2/24 - Waitlisted at American, hok, WITHDRAW.

2/25 - Georgetown offers interview, woot!

3/18 - FINALLY news from somewhere: placed in the "Reserve Group" for Columbia, won't get any news from them til late May...

3/22 - Came home to a rejection from my alma mater, UCLA. ouch.

3/23 - Moola from Northwestern, woot!

3/24 - They're rolling in now, in at Fordham!

3/25 - First Boston school! In at BC!

3/26 - No go at Stanford. Long shot, oh well.

4/2 - JR0 - Harvard no go. Looks like I won't be living in Boston next year.

4/7 - Waitlist UPenn. . . I think these schools just aren't sure what to do with me and my numbers. . .

4/19 - A couple more rolled in last week: In at Hastings, waitlisted at Georgetown and BU

4/27 - Last Call! Waitlist at NYU (finally) and U$C, rejection from UChicago (Northwestern is better anyways! =P). So final tally is 5-7-5 (A-W-R), not too bad for a splitter I think!
