Thanks for the shout out! As far as extracurriculars are concerned, I did four years on a committee for a student-run philanthropy at my school, as well as RA. It definitely helped to have work experience when it came to Northwestern. I would also echo the comments above and say study your butt off for the LSAT and apply early, it'll pay off =). Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions!
Looks like we're in the same boat, what with applying in the future and all. When are you planning on taking the LSAT?
Thanks for the kind words. Good luck with your applications. Let me know if you have any questions.
sorry to "-J" i accidently deleted your comment :/ but to answer your question i plan on taking it either dec.2010 or feb.2011....still not 100% sure but leaning towards dec.
I chose Fordham b/c I'm a New Yorker and this is where I want to practice. :) Good luck!
thanks!! I'm glad it was helpful. Good luck with the LSAT and your applications! Apply early!
Thanks for the nice message. And good luck with your LSAT and apps. If you need any advice let me know. I had a lot of good help with my cycle Kirk
Thanks for the note! Best advice anyone gave me: only give yourself 32 minutes per section when practicing and don't take the test until you're sure you'll ace it. Good luck!
Sure, I'm happy to help. While few things are certain in the law school admissions process, here is something you can count on: doing well on the LSAT as a minority is like winning the lottery. Study as hard as you possible can (and feel free to let me know if you'd like tips) and do you're best. Beyond that, applying before Thanksgiving is like another soft factor. Make sure to have your recommendations and essays in and ready to go come the start of the next cycle. Good luck!!
