Dates are dates of record, in some cases I was not notified until a few days later. (Eg michigan went complete two days before I got the email and my status checker updated). I hope this information is helpful.

11-07-07 PS finished, applications commence

11-10-2007 After submitting an incomplete PS to cornell at the 10/31 EA deadline, Cornell accepted final version of PS to make me EA complete.

11-21-2007 Duke email informing me of PT accept, packet in mail 10 days later

12-03-2007 GULC status to decision; small letter in mail 3-4 days later

12-09-2007 After three phone calls and 5 weeks of not finding time, I completed and Michigan accepted a "why michigan" statement

12-10-2007 Email from Ed Tom at Boalt telling me I passed initial review but was being deferred to the faculty committee (I wrote a 2pg PS and no DS or other optional essay). After phone call, was told that additional essays would be accepted for review by faculty committtee.

12-19-2007 Email from Cornell; Packet to my permanent address 4 days later.

12-20-2007 Michigan status checker changed to decision. After calling to let them know I would be away from my address for two weeks, they let me know I was accepted over the phone.

12-21-2007 Got call from Dean Perry at Chicago 12p CST while in an airport. I'm incredibly excited and my cycle is now over!

12-31-2007 Returned from holiday vacation to find letters: Lewis and Clark accepted and offered a full tuition scholarship in two thin envelopes
Michigan sent physical letter in a big plastic folder
Chicago sent acceptance letter in thin envelope along with a scary note reminding me to withdraw from other schools

I will start withdrawing this week
