2/9/09: E-mail from Illinois placing me on the wait list

2/14/09: Letter from Maryland placing me on the wait list

2/21/09: Rejection letter from BC

2/23/09: Rejection letter from UT - Austin

2/26/09: Decision Mailed status on UC status checker (fingers crossed).

2/27/09: Came home to a rejection letter from Penn. To think, I started the cycle off so well with back-to-back admissions, but 4 rejections and 2 WLs since.

3/2/09: Starting to get discouraged - another rejection letter, this time from Chicago

3/5/09: E-mail rejection from UVA

3/17/09: Rejection letter from GW

3/26/09: Rejected at Michigan, WL at William & Mary

4/2/09: E-mail rejection from Harvard

4/9/09: Rejection letter from Georgetown

4/10/09: Placed first seat deposit at Washington & Lee. Withdrawing from Maryland, American, and Illinois. Looks like I'll be at W&L in the fall (visited last Thursday and loved the campus/school) unless W&M, BU, or Fordham accept me and offer big $$.

4/15/09: E-mail rejection from Yale

4/16/09: Rejection letter from Duke

4/17/09: Rejection letter from Columbia. Also got a call from a Maryland admissions officer inquiring about my continued interest - she flat out told me there was no scholarship money left for people on the preferred waitlist. With that information, I was able to let her know I probably wouldn't be interested, since I have a great offer with $ already.

4/27/09: Rejected on Fordham's status checker: "Unfortunately, you have been denied." (Decision Status Date: 4/24/09)

5/2/09: Rejection letter from NYU
