Softs: Good grades in a MA program, among other factors.

Agonizing decision, but withdrew from Georgetown and Northwestern and paid my deposit at Michigan! Waitlisted at UPenn, and to my (happy) shock, on Reserve at Columbia. I'll ride them out for now, but I'm very excited about Michigan Law!! (all week of April 30)

Withdrew from American and told Boston to take my name off their waitlist. Still waiting on Penn, UChicago and Columbia, but time is running out... Wolverine or Hoya or Wildcat??

Scholarship from U of M today! I'm happy but shocked, didn't think I'd get that much.

Received an e-mail from G-town on March 23rd indicating that I've been awarded $5000/year scholarship. This is may be the smallest scholarship EVER, but I'm totally psyched anyway. I love GULC. Hopefully U of M will offer some too... Now I'm anxiously awaiting my ding from Columbia :-)

Accepted at U of M via snail-mail on 3-18! Hooray! Fingers crossed for scholarship money.

On "priority reserve" list at Duke. I sent a LOCI all about how much I love Duke (and I do!) and all the great programs there. Haven't heard a final decision yet, though.

I went DR at Georgetown on Tuesday 3-9, and was able to sign in to the Admitted Students site. My mom called about the "wedding invitation" envelope in the mail from Georgetown today 3-12. Had a handwritten note from the Dean on it.. So happy, especially since I got WL at Virginia by e-mail on Wednesday 3-10.

Also in at American on Monday 3-8, but will likely withdraw now that G-town is under my belt.
