Scholarship money per year

10/20/11- All applications officially out. Now time for the waiting game

11/03/11- First acceptance of the cycle at OKC.

11/10/11- Waitlisted at Washington and Lee. I have this sinking feeling this is going to be a trend- a number of the schools I really would love to attend are a bit out of my reach numbers wise.

11/15/11- Accepted at American University. Originally really high on my list due to its exceptional international law program and location in DC but its so expensive and they aren't generous with merit scholarships. Decisions, decisions...

12/1/11- Accepted at DePaul and Maryland. Good start to the cycle, but the toughest schools are yet to come.

12/5/11- Accepted at Valp, waitlisted at Notre Dame. A mixture of disappointment and excitement at the decision by Notre Dame. I expected a flat out rejection because my numbers are below their medians so I was surprised to even be waitlisted, but let down that I didn't get in either.

12/6/11- In a Northeastern. In my hometown, could be a tough decision.

12/8/11- Dinged at Fordham. No big deal, didn't want to go there anyway. Nice to get the first rejection out of the way too

12/9/11- In at catholic, dinged at GW. Although not surprise as GW was my Hail Mary school, still a let down.

12/15/11- Accepted at Temple and Chicago-Kent. Both decent schools and should get scholarships. Also got a huge scholarship from DePaul, definitely puts them in the running

12/21/11- Accepted at Connecticut, Santa Clara, and Tulane. Great start to the cycle so far, but most of the real heavy hitters (UNC, UW, BC, BU) haven't checked in yet.

12/22/11- Dinged at Boston College and I'm pretty bummed about it. Probably wouldn't have been able to afford it anyway and it was always a long shot, but still let down

1/10/12- Dinged at Georgetown. Obviously not a surprise. In the spirt of full disclosure, despite some good scholarships from tulane and uconn, I am leaning towards not attending law school. Despite all the work that I've put in, I'm starting to believe that going to school just isn't worth considering the financial implications. I could still change my mind, but we will see....

1/13/12- Waitlisted at Wake Forest

It looks like you had a great cycle. Where are you going among the schools that have currently accepted you? If you get off all your waitlists, where are you going?
