Additional info & updates

11/26- Got my first acceptance- from Penn State!

Looking at other applicants pages who have similar numbers, I am wondering if I should be applying to more Ivy leagues. Any thoughts?

12/11- In at Villanova, via online status checker. Thank god, I was getting antsy!

12/13- Snail mail acceptance letter from Villanova.

12/15- Cornell online status checker went to decision, but there was no "admitted students link," so I'm guessing I'm about to get my first rejection. It's okay, I didn't really expect to get in anyway.

12/19- I didn't get rejected from Cornell! But I didn't exactly get accepted either. I was deferred and my application will be considered again when the deadline passes for the regular applicant pool. I guess this is good news- although I don't know if I can wait that long!

1/5/09- Accepted @ Temple via online status checker

1/8/09- Was curious as to why I haven't heard from Rutgers-Newark yet, so I emailed them. Turns out they made a clerical error and forgot to hand my application to the admissions committee. I'm tempted to tell them to give me my money back, since I don't actually see myself attending Rutgers.

1/11/09- Snail mail acceptance packet from Temple. Recieved a Law Faculty Scholarship of $5,000 per year.

1/20/09- Accepted at Seton Hall! They sent the letter to my home address, not sure why. They gave me a $30,000 per year renewable scholarship. I am ecstatic!

1/23/09- Recieved a $20,000 per year Dean's Scholarship at Penn State.

1/27/09- Accepted to Rutgers-Newark via email. Most likely not going there, but we'll see what kind of money they offer.

2/3/09- Snail mail acceptance package from Rutgers. Only offered me an $8,000 scholarship...yeahhh right.

2/7/09- Recieved a $20,000 per year Dean's Scholarship at Villanova. This complicates things. Now I'm only waiting on Cornell.

3/28/09- First and only rejection letter of the cycle- from Cornell. Looks like Seton Hall is the winner. That's it for me on LSN!

its a distinct possibility...depends on what the scholarship offers from brooklyn and tulane are, and if i get into cornell, usc or fordham. I am definitely going to go to at least one or two of the admitted student/scholarship recipient events because i live so close. shu is about 20 minutes from me and i know newark pretty well. im excited for it!
