Were you formerly active duty? Currently in the guard? Reserves? I have super similar numbers and I have been in the Army National Guard since 2011 and am wondering how much it really helps applications. Thanks & good luck!

I'm in the Air National Guard since 2011 as well. I'm overseas now and mentioned that in my PS and Resume. So far it seems to have carried a lot of weight! Both schools that have accepted me referenced my experience and accomplishments. Good luck to you too.

So is this your first deployment? Or did you have prior deployments to list on your Resume or PS? Sorry for all the questions!

This is my first deployment. I worked full-time at my base prior to this deployment for about six months as well, so I put a year of full-time experience on my PS and resume.

Congratulations on Penn State! Question: did you receive the scholarship information on the portal or did it come with the formal admissions letter? Thanks!

Thank you! When they sent the acceptance e-mail it offered full tuition. The details were in the acceptance letter which came about a week later.
