4/17- Big day, I just returned from visiting Maryland (and winning a Leadership Scholarship) and have made my final decision. I'm sad to say goodbye to Wisconsin, but really excited about Maryland Law. My SO was accepted to Johns Hopkins, so we will be moving to Baltimore in the summer. Whew!

4/1- Withdrew from Temple, hope it opens a spot for someone. Likely btw UConn, Wisc and UMD. Watching a lot of The Wire.

3/13- Waitlisted at all reaches. Still waiting to hear from UNC. My SO is waiting on a couple PhD programs and then we'll decide. Have no idea where I'll be next year.

1/5- Returned from vacation with an acceptance from Maryland (little envelope) and a scholarship from Temple for the first year ($12,000). Begin the waiting game for the reaches...

12/23- Accepted at Temple via email. Wonderful pre-Christmas present. I love Philly and the trial advocacy program is awesome.

12/17-Deferred at BC via small envelope to my permanent address. Said they'll notify me by 2/28 and I can submit additional materials.

11/30- Returned from vacation with two acceptances waiting: both small envelopes dated 11/24 from Connecticut and Wisconsin. Dean's scholarship from UConn for first year $20K!

11/6- Confirmed my Maryland app was complete via email to the admissions office.

11/5- I received a priority mail envelope from American with an Acceptance letter inside!!!!! Hooray!

Congrats on American! Looks like we got in on the same round. Good luck with all your other appps. I applied to UNC and W&M, too.

On all your success. Very nice that you and your SO are able to go to the same town. I got my second BS degree from Hopkins.B-more has some great things to do.
