Additional info & updates

LSU scholarship is a per-year offer renewable each year if I stay in the top 25%. Same deal at CUA.

1/27: First rejection letter today. It wasn't really a surprise, but it still brought me back down to earth. Really just waiting to hear back from William and Mary right now, otherwise it will be a decision between LSU and American.

Starting to think about decisions more and more...the main debate is between staying in Louisiana or heading off to D.C. Any encouragement or advice is appreciated.

I expect a long wait on UNC, sadly, but we'll keep our fingers crossed. Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

dpbURM: I had all my materials in to LSU on October 9. They gave me a complete notification a couple of weeks afterward.

If you wouldn't mind my asking

Is the scholarship to LSU 17,500 per year? Is that beyond tuition only? Thanks!

Congrats on LSU. Personally, I'd chose that over a law school in DC, unless you want to go into politics. My whole family is from Baton Rouge and it's a great school - but you already know that. DC schools don't seem to have a good bar passage rate from what I've seen. Could be wrong though. I considered moving down there and living w/my G-ma to attend LSU, but I don't think I could get in w/my numbers! Congrats again on all your acceptances.
