****************************************************

Took an additional quarter to earn undergraduate degree.

Began working as a Litigation Case Assistant at a Silicon Valley Patent Law Firm three months after undergraduate education (Feb '11), have worked there since. I work with both Senior paralegals, associates, and partners of all levels. Went to trial out of state twice.

Had internships most summers during undergrad, however two were with Silicon Valley start ups, one was with the company that bought one of said start ups. Two were programming based; one was customer service, database development.

In sum, I had down-right no law experience before starting at my current job - I was hired due to my computer knowledge (ability to learn to use the firm's systems quickly) and somewhat due to my (limited) understanding the patents I litigate.

Admission offer from Golden Gate also includes admission to the Honors Lawyering Program. The merit scholarship offer is a full ride.

I applied to New York Law School because I figured if I didn't get in anywhere else, at least I would get to spend my law school years in the greatest city on the planet :) I also heard back from them first, as I suspected I would, so it was a bit of a safety net application.

Let me know if you have any questions - I'm completely dependent on checking the graph stats until I get acceptance letters from the pending schools, so I'm happy to return the favor to those seeking more info.

Congrats on USF! I am on the waitlist and saw they're making offers this week and next. Did your online status checker say you were back in review or just went straight from WL to Accepted?
