I am graduating in December 07, then I will have about 7 months to work, save up some money, etc. before law school starts. I will be sending in my applications as early as possible, probably in early October.

I am graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I hope to use this in my studies, and plan on becoming an IP attorney in patent law.

Feel free to leave comments. Hopefully my chances are good at Wayne and MSU. (?)

Got into Wayne! Probably first choice of law school, depending on what happens with MSU.

Does anyone have a comment about my chances at Wayne? I see that going just by the GPA/LSAT numbers, I'm pretty much as much of a bubble candidate as you can get.

Keeping in mind that I know nothing about you beyond what is in your profile, I would say that you stand a good chance of getting into either MSU or Wayne, and hopefully both. Good luck and I wish you only the best.

Congrats on Wayne!! Maybe I'll see you there

surprised about UD

Detroit-Mercy is bound to get you a decision soon. I'm sure you'll be golden there, with hopefully a scholarship better than what Cooley offered. I don't know about you but when I visited UD I liked what I heard. They're going in a good direction. I would definitely place it far above Cooley. Good luck.

Thanks for the insight! I keep hearing good things about Wayne St. I had to take a second look at the out-of state tution (23Ka yr) My jaw almost dropped b/c its about 10K less them most other law schools. ..... I really want to visit... I most definetely want to participate in the moot court programs wherever i go. Do know they their programs fairs out against the rest??

I decided on Wayne State, and will be attending this fall! I've visited there a couple of times, and love the things they have on their law school campus. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was very helpful. I can't wait to start.
