I am only cautiously confident with my LSAT score. I'm not sure that it is good enough for the highest ranked schools. I didn't do ED anywhere, because I didn't want to lose any chance of $$
You'll definately get money. There's no point in being overly cautious.
Not from Texas. They have only let a few people in (at least that have reported here), so I wouldn't worry if you haven't been accepted yet and you are getting nervous. The cycle hasn't even really revved up yet.

Thanks! Congrats to you too. Summer start was one of the big reasons I applied to Michigan...it's an interesting option. Good luck on the rest of your list - I'm sure you'll have many choices.

I got a letter (one page, letter-sized envelope) via snail-mail today.
Yeah, I went to visit the school right before I sent in my application. Best college town I've seen in a while.

They probably deferred you because they figured you would get into better schools. A LOCI would probably get you in with money, but it's probably not worth the extra effort considering that you got into several better schools.

Hi S2DNT, Congrats on your acceptances! It's good to hear from you. I am planning on attending the March ASW. We will have to have a lawschoolnumbers get-together with the rest of the LSN folks when we're all there. I was accepted for Summer term, but if you end up going to Mich. in Fall or Summer, I'll see you there either way! aniedrich84

Hi S2DNT, Good to hear from you again. I am still waiting to hear from other schools to weigh my options; but Michigan has always been one of my top 3 choices. I think a lot will depend on financial aid. My parents are both really poor and I'll need all the aid I can get if I'm going to make the law school dream come to fruition. I'm glad to know that you are summer start, too! If we both end up going to Michigan, we should definitely meet. It'll be nice to have LSN friends. Talk to you soon, aniedrich84

Same here. once I get accepted, I'll probably be out the next day at those two schools. There really is no reason for it to take so long.

I have to say dude... it's pretty impressive that it's almost the end of March and you still haven't actually been rejected anywhere (knock on wood).
Yeah--only 5 schools to go. I think I will be withdrawing from pretty much everywhere this or next week, so I may avoid the bad news entirely. (Or I could get a flood of bad news before I can WD!)
You gotta hold out and see how you do... just so you know. I could never live w/ myself w/out knowing.
